Rule of Law Returns
It is great news to see that one of President Obama's first priorities is to start changing our military detainee policy.
What were the we thinking when we suspended our habeas corpus rights for a war on terrorism? The world has been fighting terrorism for hundreds of years and we all know that a hundred years from now the world will still have terrorism. Are we certain though that a hundred years from now America will still be a nation based on rule of law? I hope that the American people insist that we are.
